KFH–Egypt’s consolidated profits jump 16.7% YoY in H1 2026

Arab Finance: Kuwait Finance House – Egypt (KFH–Egypt) delivered strong financial results for the first half (H1) of 2026, posting a consolidated net profit of EGP 2.1 billion, up 16.7% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 1.8 billion, according to a press release.

The lender attributed the solid performance to expansion across its core banking activities and business segments, reflecting its strong position in Egypt's banking sector.

Retail deposits rose 27% in H1 2026 to EGP 48.3 billion, compared with their level at the end of December 2025. Total customer deposits reached EGP 149.9 billion.

Meanwhile, the bank's financing and loan portfolio expanded 15% to EGP 120.8 billion at the end of June, compared with EGP 105.2 billion end-December 2025. Retail financing amounted to EGP 16.2 billion.

KFH–Egypt said the results reflect the successful execution of its growth strategy, driven by the expansion of its financing and deposit base and the delivery of innovative banking solutions tailored to the needs of both retail and corporate customers.
