Meat, fish, dairy prices on June 15th

Arab Finance: Prices of meat, poultry, fish, and dairy products recorded mixed movements in Egyptian markets during trading on Monday, June 15th, 2026, according to data released by the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

White poultry prices edged down by 0.2% on a daily basis to EGP 80.40 per kilogram. The decline extended to a monthly decrease of 16.6% and an annual drop of 7% compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, beef prices increased by 0.3% during Monday's trading to reach EGP 448.40 per kilogram. On a monthly basis, prices rose by 2.7%, while recording an annual increase of 11.2%.

Fish prices also moved higher, with tilapia rising by 2.6% day-on-day to EGP 91.70 per kilogram. The price was up 3.1% compared to the previous month and 4.8% higher than a year earlier.

In the dairy segment, packaged milk prices declined by 0.6% to EGP 45.60 per liter. Despite the daily decrease, milk prices remained 1.7% higher month-on-month (MoM) and 3.1% above their level in the corresponding period of 2025.

Egg prices recorded the sharpest decline among the monitored products. The price of a carton of white eggs fell by 8.1% during Monday's trading to EGP 93.10, extending losses to 23.1% on a monthly basis and 30.2% compared to the same period last year.
