Arab Finance: Prices for basic food commodities and vegetables increased on Tuesday, November 3, according to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
A kilogram of packaged rice went up by 0.5% to EGP 34.7, whereas the price of packaged flour inched down by 0.4% to EGP 27.5 per kilogram.
Packaged sugar was priced at EGP 34.3 per kilogram, rising by 1.1% daily.
The price of a kilogram of sunflower oil reached EGP 108.7, an increase of 1.1% daily.
Regarding vegetables, the price of tomatoes climbed by 3.5% to EGP 22.2 per kilogram.
The price of a kilogram of onions amounted to EGP 20.7, an increase of 9.6% on a daily basis.
