Arab Finance: The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) announced varied movements in the prices of basic commodities and vegetables on Thursday, October 29.
The price of packaged rice amounted to EGP 35.1 per kilogram, a daily decline of 3.4%.
A kilogram of packaged flour inched up by 0.1% to EGP 27.3, while sugar jumped by 10.15 to EGP 32 per kilogram.
Sunflower oil costs EGP 105.8, reflecting a daily increase of 0.5%.
In the vegetables segment, a kilogram of tomatoes hit EGP 22.9, an increase of 4.8%.
Onion recorded EGP 19 per kilogram, rising 1.9%, while a kilogram of cucumbers retreated by 1.7% to EGP 22.7 per kilogram.
