QNB Egypt inaugurates new branch in Dakahlia

Arab Finance: QNB Egypt, a subsidiary of QNB Group, has inaugurated a new branch in Meneyet El Nasr city, Dakahlia Governorate, while developing Meneyet El Nasr Central Hospital, according to an emailed press release.

The new branch is part of the bank's strategy to broaden access to its services across Egypt's governorates and expand its branch network to enhance the customer experience.

Designed with a modern design, the branch offers several banking services for individual and corporate customers, including account opening, financing applications, and financial advisory services.

It also backs small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs in line with the Central Bank of Egypt's (CBE) financial inclusion strategy.

On the other hand, QNB Egypt completed the development of Meneyet El Nasr Central Hospital as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services. The project included upgrading infrastructure and providing medical equipment at the hospital, which serves more than 56,000 residents in Meneyet El Nasr and surrounding areas.

Mohamed Bedeir, CEO of QNB Egypt, said: “The inauguration of this new branch marks a significant step in advancing our strategy to strengthen the bank’s presence across various governorates and broaden access to our banking products and services.”

Bedeir added: “Through this expansion, we aim to better address our customers’ evolving financial needs and deliver a banking experience that exceeds expectations. We are equally proud to contribute to the development of Menyet El Nasr Central Hospital as part of our commitment to supporting Egypt’s healthcare sector, in line with the bank's social responsibility strategy and sustainable development goals.”

Last April, the EGX-listed bank opened its second branch in the New Capital on an area of approximately 1,100 square meters.
