Spinalex’s net losses deepen 141% YoY in FY2025/26

Arab Finance: Alexandria Spinning and Weaving Company (Spinalex) incurred net losses amounting to EGP 19.198 million in fiscal year (FY) 2025/2026, according to the financial results.

The losses jumped by 141% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 13.611 million in FY2024/2025.

Revenues fell to EGP 626.217 million at the end of June 2026 from EGP 739.508 million. Loss per share climbed to EGP 0.06 from EGP 0.04.

Spinalex is one of the leading spinning companies in Egypt; the firm produces nearly 2,200 tons annually of 100% Egyptian and American cotton yarns for export worldwide. The company's products include compact, gassed, final & coarse combed, and carded yarns.
