Arab Finance: Carrefour Egypt has contributed over EGP 3 million to provide crucial food supplies to more than 15,000 beneficiaries throughout its five-year partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank, according to an emailed press release.
The retail company plans to carry on serving more people and developing a sustainable society under this partnership.
Through this partnership, Carrefour has contributed supplies worth EGP 500,000 among other donations to help Palestinian civilians amid the current conflict in Gaza.
“Our belief in the power of collaboration as the foundation for building a sustainable and inclusive society is reflected in this partnership. It goes beyond addressing humanitarian issues; it extends to the active contribution of our dedicated team of over 7,000 colleagues,” Mohammed Hassan, Vice President of Business Development at Majid Al Futtaim Retail in Egypt, said.
"We are delighted with the significant achievements we have accomplished through our collaboration with Carrefour over the past five years,” Mohsen Sarhan, CEO of the Egyptian Food Bank, said.
