Arab Finance: PepsiCo Egypt, through its subsidiaries Pepsi-Cola Egypt and Chipsy for Food Industries, has launched a Ramadan campaign to support the most vulnerable families and improve their quality of life during the holy month, as per an emailed press release.
The campaign is carried out in partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank and Raie Misr Foundation for Development, and supported by the company’s philanthropic arm PepsiCo Foundation.
It forms part of PepsiCo Egypt’s ongoing initiative “Filling Hearts,” which the company has implemented in previous years to promote community development in the regions where it operates.
As part of the campaign, PepsiCo is collaborating with the Egyptian Food Bank to organize six Rahman tables across various governorates, including Giza, Tanta, Beni Suef, Minya, Sohag, and Assiut.
These tables will provide daily iftar and suhoor meals throughout Ramadan. In addition, thousands of food boxes will be prepared and distributed, with the goal of delivering more than one million meals during the month through both tables and boxes.
The partnership with Raie Misr Foundation for Development will focus on urban development and housing improvements, including the renovation or reconstruction of 40 homes in Giza, Minya, and Assiut.
The campaign also includes the provision of essential infrastructure such as potable water, sanitation, and electricity, along with basic household supplies, to ensure safe, healthy, and stable living conditions.
Overall, the initiative aims to create a lasting impact beyond the holy month, reflecting its commitment to sustainable community development.
