Arab Finance: Ministry of Social Solidarity will start disbursing EGP 400 in Ramadan cash support as of Thursday, February 19^th, to families enrolled in the Takaful and Karama program, the ministry said in a statement.

The payment comes in implementation of directives by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as part of a new social protection package, Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy said.

The assistance is available starting at 12:00 pm through bank ATMs, merchant point-of-sale (POS) machines, and post offices.

Beneficiaries of the child allowance program will also receive an additional assistance for Ramadan on Thursday via postal transfers deposited using each recipient’s national ID number.

Cash assistance designated for individuals of unknown parentage will be transferred to their bank accounts at Nasser Social Bank.

Social pioneers will also be able to collect their additional Ramadan cash support on Thursday using their “Meeza” payment cards through ATMs, merchant POS machines, or post offices.
