McDonald’s Egypt launches 2026 Ramadan campaign to support underprivileged families

Arab Finance: McDonald’s Egypt, operated by Manfoods, has launched its 2026 Ramadan campaign under the slogan “McDonald’s at the Heart of Every Gathering,” as per an emailed press release.

The campaign aims to support underprivileged families across Egypt through a series of charitable initiatives, reinforcing McDonald’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

As part of the campaign, the company has partnered with key civil society organizations, including the “Sonaa El-Kheir” and “Misr El-Kheir” foundations, with a goal of reaching 50,000 beneficiaries across 27 governorates.

The campaign began with a collaboration with Sonaa El-Kheir, during which McDonald’s Egypt staff helped pack 1,200 Ramadan food boxes, an effort joined by several social media influencers to promote volunteerism and community engagement.

McDonald’s Egypt will also continue its Ramadan efforts in partnership with Misr El-Kheir for the second consecutive year, running daily iftar tents in Giza to serve 15,000 people, as well as organizing a village iftar program delivering hot meals across 27 governorates to 27,000 beneficiaries.

The campaign will additionally distribute 1,932 Ramadan boxes.

The total value of donations for the 2026 Ramadan campaign is approximately 6 million Egyptian pounds, the company said, highlighting its goal to create a meaningful impact across the country.
