Arab Finance: TAQA Arabia reported a 39% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of 2023, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 10th.
The company recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 103.291 million in H1 2023, compared to EGP 74.397 million in H1 2022.
Revenues grew 67% to EGP 198.800 million in the six-month period ended June 30th from EGP 118.880 million in the year-ago period.
On June 4th, the EGX’s listing committee approved the listing of TAQA Arabia’s shares with an issued capital of EGP 676.176 million under the ticker symbol (TAQA.CA).
