TAQA Arabia clarifies Jordan gas pipeline expansion contract value at $14.8M

Arab FinanceTAQA Arabia clarified that the value of its contract for the natural gas pipeline expansion project in Jordan stands at $14.8 million, according to a bourse disclosure.

The company elaborated that the $70 million allocation is the total value of the overall project, funded by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).

It added that preparations are underway to offer additional industrial zones for development, with the company planning to submit bids for their implementation as part of its regional expansion strategy in Jordan.

TAQA Arabia will construct a 14-kilometer pipeline under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development and the Jordanian government. The pipeline is expected to provide manufacturers in the industrial city with a more efficient and competitive energy source, supporting business expansion and efforts to attract investment to the area.
