El-Sisi extends term of Waleid Gamal El-Dein as SCZONE’s Chairman for another year

Arab Finance: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has extended the term of of Waleid Gamal El-Dein as Chairman for the General Authority of Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) for one year, starting August 12^th, according to a statement on August 13th.

Prior to holding the position of chairman of the authority in August 2022, Gamal El-Dein was the CEO of SCZONE from January 2020, then vice-chairman of SCZONE for Investment and Promotion Affairs by a presidential decree issued in May 2022.
