Dutch OCI HyFuels secures permit for green methanol bunkering in East, West Port Said

Arab Finance: The General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) has approved the issuance of a six-month renewable permit for the Dutch company OCI HyFuels to provide green methanol bunkering services at the ports of East and West Port Said, according to a statement on September 13th.

East and West Ports of Port Said have successfully supplied nine container ships with green fuel to 9 ships.

Three ships in the port of East Port Said have been supplied with 750 tons of green fuel, while six ships have been supplied with 6,660 tons.

This marks the first bunkering operation of its kind in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East
