Egypt, Lithuania mull fostering cooperation in communications, IT sector

Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology (IT) Amr Talaat has met with the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis to probe bolstering cooperation in the sector of communications and IT, a statement showed.

Both ministers discussed ways to lure further Lithuanian investments to Egypt in this sector.

The meeting also tackled the possibility of cooperation in the field of infrastructure as well as exchanging expertise.

Moreover, it shed light on the potential collaboration between Egypt Post and Lithuanian post to exchange postal services within the framework signed by both parties last May.
