Arab Finance: Data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) highlighted a drop in food commodities and vegetables on Monday, July 20th.
The price of packaged rice was recorded at EGP 33.7 per kilogram, a decrease of 1.4% daily.
A kilogram of packaged flour also retreated by 8.2% to EGP 25.5, while the price of sugar fell by 4.1% to EGP 34.2.
Sunflower oil was priced at EGP 101.7, marking a daily drop of 1.9%.
As for vegetables, the price of a kilogram of tomatoes climbed by 11.8% to EGP 22.7, whereas the price of a kilogram of potatoes shrank by 5.7% to EGP 18.3.
