Arab Finance: Prices of basic food commodities and vegetables witnessed varied movements on Monday, August 3, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
Packaged rice cost EGP 35.5 per kilogram, with a daily increase of 7.2%.
The price of packaged flour dropped by 3.9% to EGP 26 per kilogram.
Sugar’s price fell by 4.3% to EGP 33.3 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the price of tomatoes hit EGP 17.2 per kilogram, a daily increase of 7.1%.
On a daily basis, potatoes retreated by 1.1% to EGP 19.1 per kilogram.
