Egypt, Tanzania sign 2 MoUs on transport, electricity, renewable energy

Arab Finance: Egypt and Tanzania signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) covering transport, electricity, and renewable energy, as the two countries moved to expand bilateral cooperation across several sectors, the Egyptian Presidency stated.
Taking place in Dar es Salaam, the signing was witnessed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan following bilateral and expanded talks attended by delegations from both countries.
During the discussions, El-Sisi congratulated Hassan on her re-election to a second term and reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening its relations with Tanzania across various fields.
Hassan expressed Tanzania’s interest in broadening cooperation with Egypt and praised the existing partnership between the two countries as a model of integration among African nations.
Following the signing, both leaders reiterated their commitment to implementing the agreements reached during the talks and advancing bilateral relations toward a strategic partnership.
