Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund cuts stake in Fawry to 2.9%

Arab Finance: The Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund reduced its shareholding in Fawry For Banking Technology And Electronic Payment to 2.994% from 3%, according to a bourse filing.

The fund sold 224,791 shares in Fawry for a total value of EGP 4.315 million, with an average price of EGP 19.196 per share.

EFG Hermes was the broker on the transaction, which was implemented on September 9, 2026.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, Fawry posted a 28.9% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit to EGP 1.619 billion, while revenues rose by 39% to EGP 5.222 billion.
