Arab Finance: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi oversaw the swearing-in ceremony of a new deputy prime minister, ministers, and deputy ministers on Tuesday, February 11th, according to a statement by the Spokesperson of the Egyptian Presidency.
The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Heliopolis, in the presence of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, as part of a cabinet reshuffle formalized under presidential decree No. 75 of 2026.
Hussein Mohamed Ahmed Eissa was sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, alongside a slate of ministers that included Ashraf Salem Zaher Ali Mansour as Minister of Defense and Military Production, Khaled Atef Abdel Ghaffar Mohamed as Minister of Health and Population, and Kamel Abdel Hady Farag El-Wazir as Minister of Transport.
The new lineup also includes Manal Awad Mikhail Abu Ghatas as Minister of Local Development and Environment, Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Aty as Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad, and Randa Ali Saleh Fouad El-Menshawy as Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.
Additional appointments saw Raafat Abdel Aziz Fahmy Mohamed Amin Hindi assume the role of Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdel Aziz Hassanin Mohamed Saad Qansouh take over Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Mohamed Farid Mohamed Saleh named Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.
Diaa Youssef Rashwan Ahmed was sworn in as Minister of Media, Salah Mohamed Saeed Mahmoud Suleiman as Minister of Military Production, Hani Hanna Sidra Azer as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, and Mahmoud Mohamed Helmy Ahmed El-Sherif as Minister of Justice.
Hassan Radad Ibrahim El-Sayed was appointed Minister of Labor, Jihan Mohamed Ibrahim Zaki as Minister of Culture, Ahmed Mohamed Tawfik Rostom as Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Gawhar Nabil Gawhar Mohamed as Minister of Youth and Sports, and Khaled Hashem Ali Maher as Minister of Industry.
The reshuffle also included the swearing-in of several deputy ministers.
Mohamed Abu Bakr Saleh Fattah was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad for African Affairs, while Samar Mahmoud Abdel Wahed Ibrahim Al-Ahdal assumed the role of Deputy Minister for International Cooperation within the same ministry.
In the housing portfolio, Walid Abbas Abdel Qawi Othman was named Deputy Minister for Urban Communities, and Ahmed Omran Ahmed Omran as Deputy Minister for Utilities.
