Food commodities, vegetables prices fall on August 2

Arab Finance: The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) announced the prices of food commodities and vegetables on Sunday, August 2.

The price of packaged rice hit EGP 33.2 per kilogram, reflecting a daily drop of 1.1%.

A kilogram of flour reached EGP 27.1, a decrease of 2.4% daily.

Sugar fell by 3% daily to EGP 34.8 per kilogram, while the price of sunflower oil retreated by 1.6% to EGP 102.7 per kilogram.

As for the vegetables, the price of tomatoes reached approximately EGP 16.1 per kilogram, reflecting a daily drop of 5%. Meanwhile, the price of potatoes stood at EGP 19.3 per kilogram.
