Arab Finance: Madinet Masr and Waheej Real Estate announced the launch of Citydom, a jointly owned real estate entity established between the two companies, as per a disclosure.
The partnership aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and aims to support the development of contemporary housing options in Saudi Arabia.
Citydom has been set up as a 50/50 joint venture between Madinet Masr and Waheej Real Estate.
The partnership combines Waheej’s local market experience in Saudi Arabia with Madinet Masr’s long-standing track record in developing integrated urban communities in Egypt.
Together, they intend to develop a model that provides urban solutions consistent with Saudi culture and environmental considerations.
Citydom is examining the acquisition of a land plot within the Al-Janadiriyah masterplan in Riyadh.
The potential acquisition would support the development of an integrated residential project in an area identified as a growing urban destination.
The company plans to introduce an approach to housing that considers place, community, and identity, with a focus on providing a connected living environment.
