Misr Life Insurance signs 4-season strategic partnership with Al Ahly SC

Arab Finance: Misr Life Insurance Company and Al Ahly SC signed a four-season strategic partnership, covering joint marketing activities, collaboration with the Al Ahly Community Development Foundation, and sponsorship of the club’s TV channel, as per a press release.

Under the agreement, the company will provide insurance solutions to the club’s members, players, and employees.

The partnership also provides insurance coverage for athletes across Al Ahly’s various sports teams, as well as the club’s staff, throughout the contract period. Misr Life Insurance will also leverage Al Ahly’s digital platforms to directly reach these groups and promote its insurance products and services.

The deal further grants Misr Life Insurance a presence across the club’s four branches in Gezira, Nasr City, New Cairo, and Sheikh Zayed, with a dedicated service point at each location.

Moustafa El Kamash, Executive Managing Director of Misr Life Insurance, commented: “Our partnership with Al Ahly creates an opportunity to bring together the non-bank financial sector and the sports sector, represented by Al Ahly.”

He added: “Al Ahly holds a leading position in this field, while Misr Life Insurance has a well-established position among insurers operating in Egypt. This enables both parties to leverage partnership for mutual benefit.”

For his part, Mahmoud El Khatib, Chairman of Al Ahly SC, noted that such partnerships are a cornerstone for strengthening the services offered to the Al Ahly family.

El Khatib highlighted that these collaborations build on the successes achieved over years of fruitful cooperation between the two sides, supporting continued development and success in the next phase.

In October, Misr Life Insurance announced partnering with Egypt-based consumer finance app TRU to provide insurance coverage for outstanding financing balances exceeding EGP 3 billion across a portfolio serving more than 130,000 customers.
