Prices of food commodities fall on September 20

Arab Finance: Prices of basic commodities and vegetables dropped on Sunday, September 20, according to the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).

The price of packaged rice stood at EGP 33.6 per kilogram, down 2.4% daily.

A kilogram of packaged flour was priced at EGP 27, reflecting a daily fall of 0.8%.

Packaged sugar dropped by 0.5% to EGP 34.5 per kilogram.

The price of a kilogram of sunflower oil hit EGP 103.9, shrinking by 1.2% daily.

Regarding vegetables, the price of tomatoes jumped by 11.4% to EGP 29.2 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, the price of a kilogram of onions retreated by 9.4% to EGP 15.6.
