Arab Finance: Raya Auto, a fully owned portfolio company of Raya Holding for Financial Investments, has launched electric golf cart assembly operations in Saudi Arabia through a newly established joint venture with Samara Land Transportation Services Co., a subsidiary of Alturki Holding, as per a disclosure.

The joint venture will establish a localized assembly facility, provide after-sales support services, and develop workforce capabilities to serve the hospitality, tourism, construction, and urban development sectors in the kingdom.

The partnership brings together Raya Auto’s manufacturing expertise with Samara’s local market presence.

The project aims to support local assembly, create job opportunities, and enable technology transfer in line with Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification plans. Production is expected to exceed 3,000 electric golf carts over the next two years.
