Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has launched a beta version of its new website as part of its digital transformation efforts, offering investors and traders a more interactive way to monitor market activity.
Designed for use across mobile devices and different screen sizes, the platform features a streamlined interface that provides real-time updates on trading activity, EGX indices, securities prices, and other market data through a price ticker.
A dedicated Market Summary section displays daily trading values and volumes, the number of transactions, and market capitalization. Users can also track EGX indices through interactive charts.
The website provides data on the most actively traded stocks, as well as the market’s top gainers and decliners. It also displays live gold and silver prices.
Its media center gives users access to Listing Committee decisions, listed companies’ disclosures, market member news, official announcements, and other EGX data.
The EGX has invited traders, investors, and other market stakeholders to test the beta website and submit feedback, which will be considered during the development of the final version.
