Egypt’s daily imports of Israeli natural gas exceed 1b cubic feet: Official

Arab Finance: The Egyptian imports of Israeli natural gas have surpassed 1 billion cubic feet a day for the first time since its resumption in early November, a government official told Asharq Business.

The official highlighted that Egypt has been obtaining over 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas daily from the Israeli oil fields since the beginning of this week, compared to average daily imports of 850 million cubic feet in November.

It was reported previously that the Egyptian imports of Israeli natural gas went up by 52% year on year (YoY) during the first nine months of 2023, hitting 236.6 billion cubic feet.
