Arab Finance: El Nasr Clothing and Textiles Company’s (KABO) consolidated net profits after tax and non-controlling interest rose 373.4% year on year (YoY) in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024 to EGP 70.849 million, compared to EGP 14.965 million, as per a disclosure.
Net sales surged to EGP 428.746 million in H1 of the current FY, up from EGP 217.675 million over the same half a year ago.
Likewise, the firm’s standalone profits rose to EGP 46.415 million in H1 2023/2024, versus EGP 10.036 million in H1 2022/2023.
Meanwhile, standalone net sales recorded EGP 175.923 million, rising from EGP 129.82 million.
KABO is an Egypt-based company that is engaged in the manufacturing of underwear for men, women, and children of all ages. The company operates through Jill, an underwear, and loungewear brand, and sells its products in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.
