Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla has approved new procedures facilitating the process of converting gasoline-powered vehicles to be run by natural gas, as per a statement on October 22nd.
This includes allowing citizens to pay the conversion costs in flexible installments with zero interest, in addition to offering them incentives.
Accordingly, the new offers provided by both Egyptian International Gas Technology (GASTEC) and Natural Gas Vehicles Company (Cargas) enable their customers to pay in instalments for a one-year or 18-month period with zero interest and no administrative expenses.
Another option is to pay in installments for two years with zero interest.
