Arab Finance: Egypt-based educational technology company eYouth has entered into a strategic partnership with Syrian startup Doroob to expand access to skills-based training programs and support youth employability across Syria, as per an emailed press release.
The collaboration brings together eYouth’s digital learning resources and content library with Doroob’s hybrid training model, with the aim of helping Syrian youth acquire relevant skills and improve their access to employment opportunities in a changing labor market.
Under the agreement, eYouth’s educational content will be integrated into Doroob’s network of digital and physical learning channels, enabling learners to access training in areas such as technology, freelancing, and entrepreneurship while benefiting from in-person support through training centers.
Founded in Egypt, eYouth operates across the Arab world and said its online and blended learning programs have reached more than three million learners. The company added that its training and career development initiatives have helped more than 700,000 graduates secure employment across 21 countries.
Doroob focuses on linking education with labor market needs. The Syrian startup operates in more than seven provinces through a model that combines a digital learning platform with a network of training hubs. The company also works with local ministries and public institutions to provide young people with practical skills aligned with the needs of different industries.
Through the partnership, the two organizations aim to combine digital educational content with localized delivery and support mechanisms. The initiative is designed to expand access to professional training while providing learners with opportunities to develop practical skills through a blended learning experience.
Looking ahead, eYouth and Doroob plan to jointly launch training programs and work with government entities, international organizations, and private-sector partners to broaden their reach.
The companies said their objective is to create additional employment pathways for Syrian youth while supporting economic development through skills training and workforce preparedness initiatives.
