RiseUp, A15, and BitRoot bring NVIDIA SIGNALS to Egypt with 1st local founder session

Arab Finance: RiseUp, A15, and BitRoot hosted the first NVIDIA SIGNALS session in Egypt, bringing Egyptian artificial intelligence (AI) founders together with NVIDIA's technical teams, regional NVIDIA Inception startups, and investors at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), as per a press release.

The event was led by Basil Fateen, Head of Startups and Venture Capital, Middle East and Africa at NVIDIA, who outlined emerging AI trends observed by NVIDIA's internal teams, lessons from regional startups participating in the NVIDIA Inception program, and the investment criteria currently shaping AI funding decisions. The session concluded with an open Q&A on joining NVIDIA Inception and the resources available to members, including GPU credits, technical training, and go-to-market support.

The program also featured a panel moderated by Fateen with Omar Mansour, Chief Technology Officer at Egypt-based AI company Intella, Omar Abdelwahed, Co-Founder and CEO of Egypt-based identity verification platform Valify Solutions, Moustafa Menessy, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Egypt-based fintech Paymob, and Farah Osman, CEO and COO of Egypt-based workforce technology company Bluworks. The speakers discussed their experiences building AI-driven businesses and shared insights into developing companies within NVIDIA's ecosystem.

The session marks the beginning of a series of recurring NVIDIA SIGNALS events and activities in Egypt, with RiseUp, A15, and BitRoot aiming to establish a long-term connection between Egyptian founders and NVIDIA's global startup network. Future sessions are expected to feature additional NVIDIA partners, showcase companies building with NVIDIA technologies, and expand participation across Egypt and the wider region.

According to the organizers, the initiative is intended to improve access for Egyptian AI startups to advanced technologies, investors, and experienced founders, supporting the growth of the country's AI ecosystem through ongoing engagement with NVIDIA and its global network.
