Arab Finance: The Egyptian House of Representatives held a plenary session on Tuesday, February 10th, to consider a cabinet reshuffle and to obtain the necessary constitutional approval.
The session resulted in endorsing the new ministerial amendment, introducing a new lineup of candidate ministers across several portfolios while retaining Mostafa Madbouly as Prime Minister.
Under the new formation, Mohamed Farid was named Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Diaa Rashwan was appointed Minister of Media.
Raafat Hindi assumed the role of Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Randa El-Menshawy was named Minister of Housing.
Ahmed Rostom took over the Ministry of Planning, Khaled Hashem was appointed Minister of Industry, and Hassan El-Raddad became Minister of Labor.
Sٍalah Mahmoud Soliman was appointed Minister of Military Production, while Jihan Zaki took over as Minister of Culture.
The changes also included Gawhar Nabil as Minister of Youth and Sports and Abdel Aziz Qansouh as Minister of Higher Education.
Ahmed Kouchouk was appointed Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, while Mahmoud El-Sherif as Minister of Justice.
