IWG signs 10 new center deals in Egypt during H1 2026

Arab Finance: International Workplace Group (IWG) signed agreements to open 10 new centers in Egypt during the first half (H1) of 2026, according to an emailed press release.

This expansion brings IWG closer to its target of inaugurating 150 centers across Egypt by 2030, as demand for flexible and hybrid workspaces continues to rise among local businesses, multinational companies, and entrepreneurs.

Globally, IWG signed a record 728 new locations in H1 2026, bringing its network to more than 6,000 signed locations across more than 120 countries.

Meanwhile, the group expects continued growth in the sector, supported by an estimated 1.2 billion white-collar workers globally and a total addressable market exceeding $2 trillion.

Christian Schmitz, CEO of IWG, commented: “We’ve had a fantastic first half, signing a record 728 new locations and growing the IWG platform to more than 6,000 locations worldwide.”

Schmitz added: “Our capital-light strategy allows us to grow quickly, while helping our partners generate more value from their buildings. There is a huge opportunity ahead of us and we’re excited to keep accelerating our growth.”
