Arab Finance: US-based digital identity security and cybersecurity solutions provider RSA has inaugurated a new headquarters in New Cairo, with an investment of $5 million, according to a statement.
The new facility brings RSA’s total investments in Egypt to $65 million since 2020, supporting its global expansion strategy and the growth of its operations in the Egyptian market.
RSA’s Center of Excellence (CoE) in Egypt employs around 300 engineers and specialists across 15 functional areas, including product engineering and development, cloud computing, user experience (UX) design, AI, and data science. Its operations also cover sales, marketing, finance, human resources, revenue operations, and analytics.
It serves RSA’s clients worldwide in six languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese, leveraging Egyptian talent to support the company’s global customer base.
RSA plans to expand its Egyptian workforce to 400 professionals by 2029, further tapping into local expertise to enhance its global capabilities and contribute to the development of its products and services.
For his part, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Raafat Hendy said RSA’s new investment supports the government’s efforts to position Egypt as an attractive destination for high-value technology services.
Hendy addressed the rising global demand for advanced technologies, such as cybersecurity and digital identity security solutions provided by RSA.
Egypt's outsourcing industry sector is witnessing a qualitative shift, moving beyond the provision of traditional services delivery toward greater contribution in different stages of technology product development, he noted.
The minister previously revealed that Egypt's cross-border digital exports reached $5.2 billion in 2025, with a target of reaching $6 billion by the end of this year.
