US dollar exceeds EGP 52-mark on October 1

Arab Finance: The USD jumped on Thursday, October 1, exceeding the EGP 52 mark at local banks.

The USD recorded EGP 52.25 for buying and EGP 52.35 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the United Bank, and Banque Misr.

At Al Baraka Bank, the dollar was quoted at EGP 52.26 for purchase and EGP 52.36 for sale.

The exchange rate between the USD and EGP hit EGP 52.2 for buying and EGP 52.3 for selling at the Commercial International Bank of Egypt (CIB).
