US dollar jumps to EGP 53-mark on October 14

Arab Finance: The USD continued gaining on Wednesday, October 14, hitting the EGP 53 mark at some local banks.

The US dollar was quoted at EGP 52.98 for buying and EGP 53.08 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) by 10:50 AM.

It went down to EGP 52.90 for purchase and EGP 53 for sale at the United Bank.

The exchange rate hit EGP 52.94 for buying and EGP 53.04 for selling at Banque Misr, while it rose to EGP 52.97 for purchase and EGP 52.07 for sale at the Commercial International Bank of Egypt (CIB).
