Arab Finance: The US dollar rose against the Egyptian pound at local banks on Monday, August 31, with exchange rates varying across major lenders.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the exchange rate reached EGP 50.82 for purchasing and EGP 50.92 for selling by 11:05 am.
The United Bank quoted the dollar at EGP 50.95 for buying and EGP 51.05 for selling.
The USD stood at EGP 50.81 for buying and EGP 50.91 for selling at Banque Misr.
Meanwhile, it registered EGP 50.73 for purchase and EGP 50.83 for sale at the Commercial International Bank (CIB).
