Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decree appointing Mohamed Adel as the Cabinet’s official spokesperson, succeeding Mohamed El-Homsany, according to a statement.
El-Homsany will hold the role of Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Parliamentary Affairs.
Adel recently returned from Geneva, where he served at Egypt’s Permanent Mission. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.
He previously served at Egypt’s diplomatic missions in Hanoi and Kuwait, as well as at the Spokesperson’s Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he gained extensive experience in media relations and communications.
The new official also worked in the parliamentary sector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was a member of the Egyptian delegation to the League of Arab States.
