Mohamed El-Sayyad reappointed as FRA’s Vice Chairman

Arab Finance: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has renewed the appointment of Mohamed El-Sayyad as Vice Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) for a one-year term, according to a statement.

El-Sayyad's appointment as Vice Chairman was previously renewed in 2025, following his service as Assistant Chairman of the FRA for one year, from August 2, 2022, to September 2, 2023, a position he held from 2011 to 2013.

He has extensive experience in Egypt’s capital and financial markets, having previously served as First Assistant to the Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) from July 2013 to March 2019.

In previous roles, he held senior positions at the EGX, including Assistant Chairman for Listing and Disclosure Affairs and Head of the Listed Companies Sector, and served on several specialized committees overseeing listing, market operations, trading, and other capital-market activities.
