Arab Finance: The US dollar is nearing the EGP 54 mark on mid-Monday, October 19.
By 1:08 pm, the USD traded at EGP 53.8 for buying and EGP 53.9 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr.
At the United Bank, the exchange rate stood at EGP 53.71 for purchase and EGP 53.81 for sale.
The USD was quoted at EGP 53.82 for buying and EGP 53.92 for selling at the Commercial International Bank of Egypt (CIB).
