Arab Finance: The exchange rate between the USD and the Egyptian pound exceeded the EGP 54 mark during mid-Tuesday, October 20, at local banks.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the dollar hit EGP 54.45 for buying and EGP 54.55 for selling as of 2:20 pm.

By 1:52 PM, the US dollar traded at EGP 54.41 for buying and EGP 54.51 for selling at Banque Misr.

The USD was quoted at EGP 54.5 for buying and EGP 54.6 for selling at the Commercial International Bank of Egypt (CIB).

At the United Bank, the exchange rate hit EGP 54.48 for purchase and EGP 54.58 for sale.
