The occasion falls on Monday, May 1st, but the government said in 2020 it would move all mid-week vacation days, with the exception of Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, and Coptic Christmas, to the end of the week, in order to give workers the chance to enjoy a long weekend.
