e& Egypt has signed an agreement with the National Company for Telecommunication Services (NCTS), a subsidiary of the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) under the Ministry of Defense, to provide advanced communication services to its customers using the Egyptian satellite Tiba 1.

Egyptian Satellites (NileSat) reported a 14.7% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profits after tax in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024.

Egypt and China have signed the handover and reception certificate for the Satellite Assembly, Integration and Testing Center project, which was provided as a grant from China.

The Egyptian Satellites Co (NileSat) achieved net profits of $38.96 million in 2022, up by 26.7% year-on-year (YoY) from $30.75 million, according to the company’s financial income statement filed to the Egyptian bourse on February 19th.
