Travco Group to raise hotel capacity by 18% in 2 years

Arab Finance: Travco Group is planning to increase its hotel capacity by 18% within the coming two years to reach a total of 20,000 rooms, Asharq Business reported, citing the group’s chairman Hamed El Chiaty.

The move came to cope with the growing tourism in Egypt, El Chiaty said.

He added that the increasing demand for spending vacations in Egypt prompted the company to raise its prices by 20% starting next year, which would boost investment spending on new hotels, he added.
