Egypt’s wheat reserves sufficient for 4.7 months: Moselhy

Arab Finance: Egypt’s wheat reserves are sufficient for 4.7 months, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhy said.

He added that sugar reserves are sufficient to cover 8 months, and reserves of cooking oil are sufficient for 6.1 months.

Meanwhile, reserves of frozen meat are sufficient for 5.6 months, fresh meat for over two months, and pasta for 3.9 months.

The minister announced earlier that the country imported 250,000 tons of white rice to increase the strategic reserves of rice to be sufficient for over six months.
