EMX eyes listing nitrogen, phosphorous fertilizers

Arab Finance: Egypt is planning to list new petrochemical products, especially nitrogen and phosphorous fertilizers, on the Egyptian Mercantile Exchange (EMX) before the end of 2023, two sources familiar with the matter told Asharq Business.

This came after a meeting held between the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), and Chairman of EMX to mull listing several petroleum items on the EMX platform as well as increasing the number of the listed products.

This aims to lure further individual and institutional investors.
