Town Gas, Romania’s CIS Gaz sign MoU in natural gas field

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Company for Natural Gas Distribution (Town Gas) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Romania’s CIS Gaz to boost cooperation in the field of natural gas, according to a statement.

Under the MoU, both firms will exchange expertise in the implementation of natural gas networks in Egypt and Romania.

The MoU also covers connecting Romanian natural gas networks to Town Gas as well as manufacturing and assembling pressure reduction stations in Egypt using Romanian components, which constitute 60% of the end product.

This is along with establishing a unit for the production of household pressure regulators at Town Gas’ workshops, with the aim of exporting these products abroad.
