Mashreq Bank raises interest rate on 3-year savings certificates

Arab Finance: Mashreq Bank Egypt has raised the interest rate offered on its three-year savings certificates in Egyptian pound to 19.5% from 18.75%, marking one of the highest interest rates offered on certificates of deposits (CDs) in Egypt, as per an emailed release on June 11^th.

Customers above 21 years old or minors with a guardian can book the CD with a minimum deposit of EGP 1,000.

It is worth mentioning that the bank offers a diverse range of savings certificates, including the three-year CD with quarterly, semi-annual, and annual yields.
