Arab Finance: The General Authority for Land and Dry Ports has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a consortium of Egyptian firms to establish, manage, and operate an integrated logistics zone in Salloum in Marsa Matrouh governorate, Egyptian transport ministry stated on February 7th.
The consortium comprised three national companies, namely Egypt-Europe for Industrial Development, Mirad Developments, and Lenza Egypt for Projects and Engineering Equipment.
The logistics zone will span over an area of 700 feddan.
The project will promote exporting Egyptian products to Libya, North and Central Africa, and will contribute to the implementation of value-added businesses such as packaging and storage
